Zhonghe Case | Magnesium Industry Project

Our mixed gas burner project with a domestic magnesium enterprise has been successfully commissioned. Line 1 runs steadily with consistent qualified output, winning full recognition from the client.

This magnesium enterprise builds two Φ5.8×80m calcined dolomite kilns. We customized two SR4 dual-fuel burners with complete supporting fittings to suit its coal and natural gas co-firing process.

We optimized burner structure, air distribution and flame control system based on on-site fuel parameters to fit working conditions:Pulverized coal: 6100 kcal/kg calorific value, 31% volatile matter, 5.7% ash, 0.22% sulfur, <8% 200-mesh residue, 3.5% moistureNatural gas: 8400 kcal/m³ calorific value, stable burner inlet pressure 8–12 kPa

SR4 burners adopt natural gas for kiln ignition with steady, controllable heating. After stable coal feeding, gas supply can be cut off for coal-only operation to cut fuel costs, balancing environmental performance and economy.

It delivers full and even flames to realize optimal calcination without overburning or underburning. On-site adjustable flame length allows flexible adaptation to varying materials and output demands.

Line 1 operating data:Output: 1150 t/d; Pushing cycle: 37 s; Coal consumption: 8.8 t/hKiln head: 1080℃, Kiln tail: 1120℃, Preheater core: 1150℃Stable qualified calcined products fully meet client mass standardized production requirements, verifying reliable equipment performance.

The successful SR4 application in Anhui magnesium project demonstrates Zhonghe’s strength in non-ferrous calcination. We deliver one-stop customized burners, full accessories and after-sales service to maximize kiln efficiency for clients.
