Lime: a project in Jiangsu

The lime production line of a Jiangsu Iron and Steel Group company has achieved remarkable improvement and benefit increase after adopting SR multi-channel coal and gas mixed low nitrogen burner provided by Xiangyang Zhonghe Electric. The following is a specific analysis of the technical transformation project.


1. Production line overview and original problems
The steel group has two lime production lines with a daily capacity of 1000 T /d, of which Line 1 has the following major problems:
Insufficient capacity: the actual capacity is only about 700t/d, lower than the design capacity.
Poor quality: calcium oxide content of about 89%, activity of 350.
Environmental protection: NOx emission concentration is about 80mg/m³.
Operation problems: there are rings in the kiln, affecting the continuity and stability of production.


2. Measures for technological transformation
In response to the above problems, Xiangyang Zhonghe mechanical and electrical technicians carried out field research, and carried out accurate optimization design of the burner. In October this year, the production line was replaced by the SR multi-channel coal and gas mixed low-nitrogen burner provided by Xiangyang Zhonghe Mechanical and Electrical.


3. The effect of technological transformation
After more than two months of production and operation, the transformed production line has achieved the following remarkable results:
Capacity increase: The existing capacity is increased to 880t/d (under the production restriction policy).
Quality improvement: The calcium oxide content was increased to 93%, and the product quality was significantly improved.
Improvement of environmental indicators: NOx emission concentration was reduced to about 30mg/m³, much lower than the previous 80mg/m³, to meet the more stringent environmental requirements.
Elimination of loop formation: There is no ring formation in the use of the burner, which ensures the continuity and stability of production.
System parameters are stable: The roasting system is more stable, which is conducive to the improvement of product quality and production efficiency.
